Slingsby Firefly T67M-Mk2

The T67 Firefly was produced by Slingsby Aviation from a design originally created by Fournier as the RF-6.  The Firefly began life as a basic aerobatic trainer as the T67A, of wood construction and fitted with a 116Hp engine.  The T67B was essentially a T67A but of Glassfibre Reinforced Plastic (GRP) construction.  The T67C was the last of the civilian incarnations and was essentially a T67B but with a 160hp engine.  The T67C can be found with fuselage fuel tank, wing fuel tanks or the split canopy (as found on the T67M-Mk2).  The military variants (T67M, T67M-Mk2, T67M200 and T67M260) all have inverted fuel and oil systems and fuel injected engines, from the T67M-Mk2 they are also fitted with the split canopy.  The T67M and M-Mk2 are powered by 160hp engines while the M200 and M260 are powered by 200 and 260hp engines respectively.  G-BNSP is a T67M-Mk2.
